해외 가구 공모전 해석&리뷰_A'DESIGN Award_Talento Unlimited Cabinet by Edoardo Colzani

I was inspired by the idea of enhancing the shapes of the object without exasperating them and using a simple aesthetic language. A cabinet that is caracterized by a unique surface finishing and a unique surface textured design.

나는 물체의 형상을 강화하고 간단한 미적 언어를 사용하는 아이디어로부터 영감을 얻었다. 독특한 표면 마감과 질감 디자인으로 특징적인 캐비닛입니다.

 

 

Talento is a containing unit with a strong visual impact where crafstmanship and design come together in a wise balance of empty and full and an alternation of different depths and proportions. The new "UNLIMITED"; texture in liquid metal embellishes and emphasizes the two doors. The rounded edges of the entire structure and the particular recessed handle represent a further detail which highlights the originality of the design. An architectural jewel designed and equipped for storing objects.

Talento는 강력한 시각적 효과를 가진 격납 유닛으로, 장인 정신과 디자인이 공허함과 꽉 찬 상태의 균형과 다양한 깊이와 비율의 교대로 결합됩니다. 새로운 "무제한"; 리퀴드 메탈 소재의 텍스처는 두 개의 도어를 더욱 돋보이게 하고 강조합니다. 전체 구조의 둥근 모서리와 특정 오목한 핸들은 디자인의 독창성을 강조하는 추가 세부 사항을 나타냅니다. 보석은 물건을 보관하기 위해 설계되고 장착되었다.

 

 

Every details of this particular cabinet, like the structure's round and smooth profile, is a result of a skillfull craftmenship and has been designed to make the product immediately recognizable.

캐비닛의 모든 디테일은, 구조의 둥근 부분과 완만한 상태와 같은, 숙련된 장인 정신의 결과이며 제품을 즉시 알아볼 수 있도록 설계되었습니다.

 

 

The hardest part of Talento cabinet was to find a solution to realize the unique surface design with a innovative process. This process took one year in design and engineering research because a mould for this particular texture and finishing was not available. The final solution was the creation of a specific silicone mold to defined the surface design combining it with the liquid metal finishing.

캐비닛의 가장 어려운 부분은 혁신적인 프로세스로 독특한 표면 디자인을 실현할 수 있는 솔루션을 찾는 것이었습니다. 이 공정은 특정 질감과 마감을 위한 금형이 없었기 때문에 설계 및 엔지니어링 연구에 1 년이 걸렸습니다. 최종 해결책은 액체 금속 마감과 결합된 표면을 구현하기 위해 특정 실리콘 몰드를 만드는 것이었습니다.

 

리뷰 : 실제로 나온다면 굉장히 비쌀 것 같은 가구이다. 이 작품은 만드는 장인의 손길마다 다르게 탄생되기 때문에 고가의 가구를 좋아하는 사람들이 좋아할 것이다. 독특한 기법으로 만든 캐비닛의 질감은 어느 가구에서도 찾아볼 수 없었던 질감이다. 나중에 가구를 직접 만들게 된다면 나만의 기술을 적용하여 그 몸값을 올리고 싶다.
